During this session, you will learn how to operate the Security Station (FTS).
Please do not walk around or talk while I go over the rules and commands with you.
If you go idle or AFK, you will fail the training session and be asked to take another one.

We have a Security System for the purpose of checking a member’s motto.
It is a MUST to use this system at ALL times to prevent fired/non-HIA members from entering the base.

In the box, you type the username of a person & it will show a specific colour coded message.
Now type your username into the Security search and let me know what it says.

GREEN - Permitted to enter if they pass the Security System and have matching B.U.M.

LIGHT YELLOW - CHECK FOR [HIA] Recruit
This means that the person does not work in HIA.
If they have [HIA] Recruit in their motto, send them to training.

RED - Not permitted to enter. The person is either fired from HIA or not an employee of HIA.
There are 4 types of messages that can show up if the RED colour appears, they are:
1. NO LONGER IN AGENCY
This means that the person has been removed due to inactivity.
Please tell them to go to the transfer desk for more info.
2. USER IS FIRED
This means that the person has been fired from HIA.
If the person asks for the fire reason, please seek help from any members holding a rank
within the Internal Affairs division and above (IA+) to check for fired logs on the portal.
3. BLOCKED (BOS/NP/DNH)
This means that the person is on our Ban On Sight/National Punishment/Do Not Hire lists.
They should not be in base. If you ever face something like that do seek any HR+ to request a RR.
4. CONTACT ADMIN
This means the person has been an Agent from a long time ago OR
the Agent’s most recent promoter has left HIA.
Reach out to an IA+ to seek further clarification.
If the agent’s last promoter left HIA recently, you may let them enter base.
If the agent’s last promotion was MORE THAN 365 days,
they will need to be retrained and start over from Recruit.
Please assist them in changing their motto to [HIA] Recruit
and ensure they have the correct B.U.M. before sending them to training.

YELLOW - USE HR GATE
This means that the person is HR+ and should enter by the HR gate in the lobby.
If an HR+ member is on the rollers, do kindly tell them to enter HIA’s base through the HR gate.
RAINBOW - VETERAN
Also, take note that if you ever encounter a person wearing the Veteran badge,
you are permitted to let them in.
Veterans will appear RAINBOW on the system and are allowed to enter the base through FTS.
They may also use the Veteran gate in the lobby.
USDF Personnel ranked O1+ or who are in OISA,
are allowed to access HIA’s HQ through Fill the Front (FTF).
On the Security search, they will appear as Rainbow VIP - Allowed
Always remember to check that they are wearing the correct Personnel ID badge and motto.

Saying the command :gate lets the person onto the rollers.

It gives real-time guidance based on what you see in the Security Search.
This message will appear when you type :help,
You will be able to see when to use certain commands and guidance.
The following colour codes can show once you type a username into the Security Search Tool:

If the result is GREEN, you'll be reminded to use :base

If the result is YELLOW, the correct command is :training

If the result is RED, you'll be prompted to use :deny

You’ll be advised to refer them to TU or a HR+.
Also, if you ever need to be reminded of the correct commands, you can type:

Next, search their name in the system.
If two members get stuck on the rollers,
simply tell one of them to type :ex.it [without the dot]

You may say the command :base to let them in base.

If an individual comes through with the motto “[HIA] Recruit” a Security search is still required.

If the recruit doesn’t have the correct Badge, Uniform and Motto, you may :deny them.
This would teleport them back to the lobby.
It is important to let the member know why they are being denied, so please give them a reason.

then say the command :training to send them to training.
Do note that members from Security or Trainer division may ask to be teleported to

In addition, be careful about accidentally leaving your division badge.
You could risk losing your rank or receive a demotion!

e.g, (Offi. Agent I also translates to OA I).

and they are not wearing their respective badge.
They should be permitted entry as well as they are Awaiting Badge and may be
unable to wear it/join it for whatever reason.

We have a Security System for the purpose of checking a member’s motto.
It is a MUST to use this system at ALL times to prevent fired/non-HIA members from entering the base.

Now we will use the Security Simulator.
This simulator resembles our Security station within the HIA HQ.
Saying the command :gate lets the person onto the rollers.
Try the command now to see how it works!

There is a Wired Prompt System, designed to assist you at FTS.
It gives real-time guidance based on what you see in the Security Search.
This message will appear when you type :help,
You will be able to see when to use certain commands and guidance.
The following colour codes can show once you type a username into the Security Search Tool:

If the result is GREEN, you'll be reminded to use :base

If the result is YELLOW, the correct command is :training

If the result is RED, you'll be prompted to use :deny
If the result shows CONTACT ADMIN, it may mean their last promoter is no longer at HIA or
they've been inactive for over 365 days.
In this case, find a HR or IA+ member to seek further clarification.
Also, if you ever need to be reminded of the correct commands, you can type:
:help while seated, and the same message will appear again for you.
Go ahead and try typing :help now to test it out!

When a person appears on the rollers,
open the gate using the command and greet them.
Next, attempt to open their profile to ensure that both it and their online time
is set to public, (i.e, can be viewed).
After that, search their name in the system.
We highly encourage that you copy+paste the person’s username from the whisper function,
to prevent typos so you do not accidentally :deny employees.
If two members get stuck on the rollers,
simply tell one of them to type :ex.it [without the dot]

If the Security System shows ALLOWED and the user is
dressed in the proper uniform, with the correct badge and motto
You may say the command :base to let them in base.
Be alert that all members are allowed to abbreviate their motto.
e.g, (Offi. Agent I also translates to OA I).
You may also encounter members with [AB] included in their motto,
and they are not wearing their respective badge.
They should be permitted entry as well as they are Awaiting Badge and may be
unable to wear it/join it for whatever reason.

If an individual comes through with the motto “[HIA] Recruit” a Security search is still required.
The user may be previously fired and trying to get in, if so it will show up in the Security Search.
If the Recruit doesn’t have the correct Badge, Uniform and Motto, you may :deny them.
This would teleport them back to the lobby.
It is important to let the member know why they are being denied, so please give them a reason.

If a recruit’s Badge, Uniform and, Motto (B.U.M) match up,
then say the command :training to send them to training.
Do note that members from Security or Trainer division may ask to be teleported to
training for training, kindly allow them AFTER checking the Security System.

If the person is wearing the HIA Special Visitor or Diplomatic Guest Badge,
you may tell them to use the gates in the lobby.
Say the command :deny to send them there.
If a member is breaking uniform rules such as wearing a full-face mask,
tell them to remove it first.

Replace the (|) with a (.) when searching.
Once it has been removed you may say the command :base
USDF Personnel ranked O1+ or who are in OISA,
are allowed to access HIA’s HQ through Fill the Front (FTF).
On the Security search, they will appear as Rainbow VIP - Allowed
Always remember to check that they are wearing the correct Personnel ID badge and motto.

Now let’s talk about LOA (Leave Of Absence)
Security+ members in HIA are not allowed to be inactive for 14 days or more.
If you surpass the 14 days inactivity limit, all of your badges will be removed.
If you need to be inactive for 14 days or more, you must apply for LOA.
To do this, please visit the Help Desk for assistance.
In addition, be careful about accidentally leaving your division badge.
You could risk losing your rank or receive a demotion!
