This guideline has been created and compiled by the Director General - Cybersecurity to give proper guidance to all members of Habbo Intelligence Agency (HIA) regarding how to set up Metamask Wallet to purchase Habbo Collectibles. Note: You must be 18+ to use cryptocurrency exchanges and MetaMask.🔞

What are collectibles?
Habbo started releasing Habbo Collectible items, such as Habbo Avatars and NFT Clothing, which can only be purchased by using cryptocurrency, like Ethereum (ETH). These are the unique clothing items that you see people wearing which are unavailable in the standard Habbo Catalogue. |
What is Ethereum (ETH)?
In simple terms, Ethereum or Ether tokens enable users to make transactions. Think of it as a form of currency, like your US Dollars or Euros. In order to purchase an item in real life, you would need your local currency. Similar to purchasing Habbo Collectibles items on Habbo, you would need their currency, which would be Ethereum. ETH is not limited to purchasing Habbo Collectibles, but can be used to purchase other NFT items in the world. |
Two Blockchains
The different collections Habbo Collectibles is composed of are spread across two blockchains: Ethereum and Immutable, a layer 2 scaling solution. Habbo Avatars, Habbo Portraits, and Habbo X Rooms are all found on Ethereum, while items like furni and clothing are all located on Immutable. Immutable is a blockchain that sits underneath and is directly connected to the main Ethereum blockchain and allows you to buy and trade Habbo Collectibles at the speed you would expect to be able to in any regular game. A comparison is buying and selling Habbo Avatars, which costs money in “gas fees” and takes significantly longer. |

Habbo has released a multitude of items for users to purchase, with Habbo Avatars being the first official NFT collection for Habbo made by Sulake. It consists of 11,600 unique, automatically generated, pixelated avatars that are manually curated by the Habbo art team, which are different from the standard customisable avatars we are known to use on the daily.

New Collectibles are released every two weeks in the Collectible shop on Habbo and are bought using Emeralds. The time is limited to purchase these new items. Once they are expired, you can find them via Immutable and can purchase with ETH instead of Emeralds.
What are Emeralds and Emerald Furni?
Emeralds are the premium currency of the Habbo Collectibles ecosystem. Premium Collectibles – Genesis Habbo Avatars, Crafted Habbo Avatars, Habbo Portraits, and Habbo X Rooms – all provide their owners with daily Emeralds, claimable from the Collectibles Shop.
Emerald Furni are Habbo Collectibles and exist in the Habbo Tokens collection on Immutable. You can convert your Emeralds into Emerald Furni and then sell them there.
In the same way, you can buy Emerald Furni and convert them back into Emeralds to spend on various items from the Shop - clothing, furni, limited edition items, the list goes on

How do I get a Crypto Wallet?
A wallet is a secure space to store your Habbo NFTs and cryptocurrency. To receive any Habbo Collectibles at all, you need one of these. There’s loads of different wallets available but we recommend using MetaMask as it’s compatible with Habbo’s technology and is easy to use.
Follow these steps to set up and use your MetaMask wallet:
1. Head to MetaMask.io
2. Install the MetaMask plugin: click “Download” and then select your chosen browser. Once downloaded, the extension will appear and continue to exist in the top right of your browser.
3. Create a wallet: follow the prompts to create a wallet.
4. Important: write down your seed phrase on a piece of paper, not on your phone or device! If you want to access your wallet on a different device in the future or forget your wallet’s password, this is the only way to regain access. If you lose your seed phrase, you will lose access to your wallet and any NFTs inside forever. No one can help you regain them! Also; NEVER give your seed phrase to ANYONE.
5. Next, head over to the Habbo Collectibles website to connect your wallet to Immutable. All instructions are listed there in English. You will have to "sign" a number of transactions to finish this process.

How do I connect my Crypto Wallet to Habbo?
How do you Transfer Habbo Collectibles to another Crypto Wallet?
1. Head to nft.habbo.com/shop and click inventory. This will show all your currently owned Habbo Collectible items.
2. Click on the Transfer Button below the NFT item you wish you Transfer.
3. Select the amount of Collectible items to send, and the receiver's wallet address and click submit.
Please Note: Once you send an item to another wallet there's no way to undo this.
Please ensure you have the correct wallet address to where you're sending the item.
✘ Do NOT “borrow” your NFT items to another person unless you are giving them the item, there is no way to get the item back!

What is Seasonal Currency?
You can earn seasonal currency by completing quests or purchasing it from our website Shop. Some Quests provide seasonal currency as a reward. Open the Quests window by navigating to any room and clicking on the bottom icon. Click on "Activate quest" to get started.
View the objective you need to complete by clicking on "Details."
Keep in mind that Quests are available for a limited time only!

Clothing Collectibles are identifiable with a small orange square. Together, the above three items make up a Collectible Set, which provides a bonus item when completed.
Where can I see my Collections?
Displayed in the Collection Screen are all the Habbo Collectibles Habbo have released, arranged into sets. You can see which collectibles you own, the collectibles you’re missing from incomplete sets, and how many sets you’ve completed in total.
The Collection Screen is found in the Collectors Guild in the Modern client and on the Habbo Collectibles website. Access it by clicking on the “Collectors Guild” option in your profile menu while using the Modern client.

The more collectibles you own, the more Collector XP you’ll get. The more XP you have, the higher your Collector Level. In the future, players with higher Collector Levels will get access to all sorts of exclusive content, and in some cases, features!
