A badge removal is the act of removing official HIA-related badges from a user’s profile after their online time has exceeded the 14 days inactive period. In saying this, badge removal requests must only be logged when the user has overstayed 15+ days of inactivity. This is because the user is granted a ‘24 hour grace period’ after surpassing 14 days of inactivity.
Members within the elective ranks who hold the badge admin privilege can remove badges. If you wish to contact a badge admin (BA), you can ask for one in the #requests channel on Discord.
Please note:
Example:
@ExRiC > Remove (username) inactivity
@Payer > (username) inactivity please remove HC Levels #
Please note:
- Badge removal requests can only be submitted through the portal.
- Badge admins are not in charge of SU Related or Pay related badges, it is merely coincidental if a user is within the SU/Payer and also a badge admin; the two do not correlate.
- If you wish to request the removal of a person's HC Levels due to inactivity, contact a Payer.
- If you wish to request the removal of a person's Special Unit badges due to inactivity, contact that Special Unit's iCs.
Example:
@ExRiC > Remove (username) inactivity
@Payer > (username) inactivity please remove HC Levels #

Once a user has met the requirements of inactivity, members of High Management+ may submit a badge removal request on the Portal. This is done under the Portal Logs section, then Access Removals > Requests. Here you can see current and previous badge removal requests. ‘Requester’ is the username of those who have submitted badge removal requests, whilst ‘Request Target’ is the user whose badge may be removed. The checkered flag on the far right indicates whether or not the badges have been removed by a badge admin. |
(1) New requests are added by clicking the blue ‘Add Request’ Button.
(2) Here is where the inactive username should be put; with your reasoning and screenshot(s).
Screenshots can be uploaded using image hosting sites such as Imgur, Gyazo, or Lightshot. Once you have clicked ‘Add Log’, you have successfully submitted a badge removal request which you may now view on the Badge Removal Requests page. A pop up will also show to confirm that the request has been logged.

Step 1: Contact the Member:
- Follow Steps 1 and 2 from Scenario A.
- If they fail to respond, (1) mark them as "Returned" (if you are an LOA Admin, otherwise request for one and show them your evidence), and (2) add a note in "Admin Notes" indicating their profile is closed and they failed to respond.
- If they respond but refuse to open their profile, still mark them as "Returned", and log a warning citing 2.D.1 §6.
For Evidence, please include your attempt to reach out to the member, their profile (if it's not closed), their last activity on Portal, all with timestamps. Here’s an example on how you should approach the member about it:
For Members who exceeded their LOA
In this scenario do NOT log a badge removal. This is up to LOA Admins to do, not High Management+ members.
