This guide is for players who wish to recover their account after they have been hacked, banned, trade-locked or muted.
Habbo is sensitive to certain behaviours and languages, but these rules are in place to keep the game safe and enjoyable for everyone. Depending on the severity of the behaviour and whether similar issues have occurred before, punishment can range from an alert to a permanent ban.

Step 2: Enter the email address linked to your Habbo account.
Step 3: In the “Subject” field, write “Requesting to recover [hacked, banned, trade-locked or muted] account”
Step 4: In the “Description” section, explain in your own words what happened.
- Include the date and time you were hacked, banned, trade-locked or muted.
- State the reason given for the ban (if any).
- Explain what you were doing at the time (which room you were in, who you were speaking to, and what you remember saying).
- The more details you provide, the easier it will be for Habbo staff to review your case.
Step 5: Under “Hi Habbo, I am”, select “currently a Habbo player” if the account belongs to you.
Step 6: Under “And I want to talk about”, select the option that matches your issue (banned, muted, or trade-locked account, or if your account has been hacked/stolen).
Step 7: Under “My Habbo name is..”, input your exact Habbo username to help them identify your account.
Step 8: Under “Further Info..”, make sure to include any extra details that are relevant to recovering your account.
Step 9: Under “Attachments”, include a screenshot of the alert you received when you got banned, trade-locked or muted. This will help Habbo mods identify what happened to your account. Other relevant evidence can also be attached in this section.
For example:
Step 10: After filling in each section, please click Submit - your screen should now show the details of your open request alongside confirmation that it was submitted.
Please wait patiently for a response and make sure to check your spam/junk folders. Please note that Habbo Staff do not respond to enquiries during the weekends.
Please do not spam them within the same ticket or submit multiple tickets, as this will update your ticket to a more recent timestamp and therefore moves you further down the queue. To prevent delays, include all the information in a single message/ticket.

How to activate account safety lock?
Step 1: Go to habbo.com > Click on your username to open the menu > Settings
Step 2: Go to Account Protection > Click on Turn On Safety Lock
Step 3: Choose two questions from the drop-down menus then fill in your desired answers. Please make sure both answers are easy to remember. Input your current password then click Save.
You are done!
Account Safety Lock can protect your account if someone has stolen your password, as they would still have to answer the safety questions correctly to gain access.
How to activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Step 1: Go to habbo.com > Click on your username to open the menu > Settings
Step 2: Go to 2FA > Click on Authenticator App or Email
Using an authenticator app is more secure than email, as it uses your device rather than an online account which, if compromised, leaves your Habbo account at risk.
Step 2: If registering via Authenticator App, copy the 10-digit code sent to your email and paste in the “Enter the code sent to [your email]” field.
Step 2: If registering via Authenticator App, copy the 10-digit code sent to your email and paste in the “Enter the code sent to [your email]” field.
Scan the QR code with an authenticator app on your phone (such as Google Authenticator), then input the 6-digit code shown on the app in the “Enter the Authenticator code” field. Please note that 6-digit authentication codes typically change every 30 to 60 seconds for extra security. Once you have input both codes, click Register to enable 2FA.
Step 3: If registering via Email, select “Use the same email address as my Habbo account” or you can provide a different email that you have access to. Then click Send Code.
Copy the 10-digit code and paste in the “Enter the code sent to [your email]” field, then click Register to enable 2FA.
Copy the 10-digit code and paste in the “Enter the code sent to [your email]” field, then click Register to enable 2FA.
You are done!
Please be aware that even if you activate Account Safety Lock or Two-Factor Authentication, you should still never share your password or account details!
